Gocha & Shorena's Center of Dance

Through their performances and their coaching, Gocha and Shorena have raised the bar for technical and artistic excellence in ballroom dance both in the U.S. and abroad. Professional and top-amateur competitors are drawn from all over to Gocha and Shorena for dazzling choreography, brilliant coaching, and unique costume design. Six-time Georgian amateur champions in both Latin and Standard, Gocha and Shorena are well-trained and qualified to teach all forms of ballroom dance. Their students are consistent winners in both American- and International-style competitions.

Attend Shorena's classes for the rare opportunity to learn

International Latin dances include Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, and Jive. International Standard dances include Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quick Step, and Viennese Waltz.

International Latin and Standard
Each series meets once a week, and offers five classes in a Latin dance, followed by five classes in a Standard class, for a total of ten classes per series. Call Shorena for the location of these classes.
Masters Class for International Latin and Standard
Placement in the Masters Class is determined by audition or interview. Experienced and competitive dancers will learn a great deal from these group classes. Technique and style are stressed to produce polished, championship-quality dancers. Two series of eight classes are offered:

A new studio has been constructed specifically for ballroom dancing, under the careful direction of Gocha and Shorena. A floating, hard-wood dance floor was laid by hand to provide the best possible dance surface. They designed one of the largest dance floors in the DFW area to provide exceptional room for advanced dancers.

Students are requested to wear a black shirt for men, black top and skirt for women.
Dance shoes are required for all students.
